Description

This is a planetary that I started collecting data on back in December and finally had enough data to give it a go on processing. This is a pretty faint planetary and I had hoped to get closer to 30 hrs on it but mother nature just wasn't cooperating and I decided to process what I had. A little over 21hrs.

Just a few things to mention that I noticed. 1st never seen the very faint Ha to the left of the planetary while I was colleting data. I only seen this after the total integration was done and I went starless. So I used the extracted Ha channel from APP to try to enhance that as well as the center part of the planetary. I like the slight pinkish/magenta of the very center of the planetary.
2nd, you'll notice a couple blotches to the top from about 12 o'clock to around 1:30-2 o'clock position. As I was capturing the data I never really seen this in SharpCap. Again this only happened when the total 21+ hrs of data was integrated and much easier to see once the stars was pulled out. At first I was concerned this was a flat issue and upon inspecting the data it was in both the extracted Ha & O3 channels but very prominent in OIII. I was very happy as I was stumped as to what I would have done wrong to create these.

All data was processed in APP as mentioned above both HA & OIII was extracted and used for luminance as well as adding the color/detail of the Ha whisp to the left of the nebula.
The OIII really helped pull the detail in the loop at the 1 o'clock position of the nebula itself. I really like that part of the nebula myself.

I plan to do a cropped version of this nebula in the coming days.

I hope you like this one and as always thanks for looking!

Title: Cropped

Description: This is a cropped version of the original data. I did process a bit differently to pull out more detail within the nebula. I hope I didn't over sharpen this however.
